Louisiana Evergreen Bunching Onion/Shallot

We got our mother's from the wonderful folks at Lazy Dog Farm in Georgia.  They have great videos on youtube about growing this perennial bunching onion.

These are a multiplying onion and  once planted  bulbs will multiply as they grow. One bulb can multiply into 6+ plants in the first season.  This onion is a staple of cajun dishes.

Louisiana Evergreen Shallots are a staple of many cajun dishes.   They go dormant for a month of so in the middle of summer for us and then the rest of the year they are growing and dividing.  They are a stout green onion, but a powerhouse none the less.
