Classic deep red tamarillo fruit also known as "Tree Tomato". This perennial egg-sized fruit makes for good eating, and is typically made into jams etc or made into a savory sauce.  Easily grown from seed (also cuttings possible but not easy), it prefersa a frost free environment (or protection from frost).  Otherwise grow in a large container and overwinter frost free.
