Tiger's Tooth Jujube

Chinese variety with distinctive elongated tooth-shaped fruit resembling tiger's teeth. Vigorous tree with semi-open growth habit. Early maturing variety, very productive. Can fruit same year of grafting.

Long slender cylindrical fruit (2-3 inches long, 18-22 grams). Red-brown skin when ripe. Super sweet crisp tender juicy flesh, sugar content 35-40% when fully red. Maple-like sweetness develops when dried. Crisp apple-like texture when fresh. Ripens early season (mid-August northern China, late May southern China). Excellent fresh eating and drying. Strong resistance to cracking, not easy to drop fruit.
