Trebbiano Grape aka Ugni blanc, St. Émilion, White Hermitage, White Shiraz (Vitis vinifera) is a high yielding white wine grape is the second most widely planted grape in the world and was grown as far back as Roman times in Italy. Makes a wine that is generall dry and crisp, with some fruity overtones and a note of bitter almond at the end. Best for fresh use aas it doesn't age well. Also commonly used in blending white table wines and in making balsamic vineger. Known as Ugni Blanc in France and many other names in wine growing regions around the world. Grows best in sun drenched climates with hot days and cool nights. Hardiness zons 7-10
