Vern's Brown Turkey Fig

Heavily productive of large purple-brown over green, thin skinned tender figs that have a sweet, flavorful, amber flesh. Flavor is mild and creamy - very nice. Named after Northwest garden writer Vern Nelson, it has proven itself reliable and well adapted throughout the region. Also popular and said to be the best fig for the Northeast. Gives both a breba and a main crop. Hardy zones 7-10.
