Developed by cooperative USDA-ARS and New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station breeding program. Released in 2005. Early-ripening variety that fruits about 2 days before Duke. Vigorous, upright bushes reaching 5 feet. Distinguished by pink-tinged flowers.

Medium to large, light to medium blue berries with excellent firmness and sweet, sub-acid flavor with pronounced peach accents. Very high sugar content (high Brix) compared to other early/midseason cultivars. Superior flavor won best taste award from Utah State University in comparison trials. Long storage life.

Cross of 'Bluecrop', 'Earliblue', and 'Berkeley' made by American breeders in 1978. High initial firmness maintained after ripening makes it well-suited to mechanical harvesting. Moderate yields (9-11 lbs per plant). Excellent for commercial fresh markets, U-Pick operations, and home gardens.
