Southern highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum hybrid). Vigorous growing with fine upright shape. Strong resistance to Phytophthora cinnamomi (Phytophthora root rot), most common and destructive root rot disease of southern highbush blueberry particularly in Florida and southeastern US. Good resistance to other fungal diseases. Vigorous, upright growth habit makes suitable for both home gardens and commercial production. 

Heavy yields of medium-sized berries. Berries ripen early in season. Superb flavor, highly regarded for taste quality. Firm texture suitable for fresh market and culinary uses. Good picking characteristics.

Released in 2004 by Hartmann's Plant Company. Phytophthora resistance particularly valuable characteristic as Phytophthora root rot caused by oomycete pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi devastating to approximately 5,000 woody plant host species worldwide, persistent problem for blueberry growers requiring careful site selection and routine fungicide applications.
