Orange Glow™ Sea Berry

A patented German seaberry variety developed by Hans-Joachim Albrecht. Deciduous shrub reaching 6-10 feet tall with silvery-green, willow-like foliage and thorny stems. Female variety requires a male pollinator (one male pollinates up to 8 females).

One of the earliest ripening varieties, producing large, bright orange berries in mid-August. Crops are exceptionally heavy. Berries are very high in vitamin C (7x more than lemons), vitamin A, and E, with pleasant acidic flavor. Excellent for juice and preserves. Bears 2-3 years after planting.

Developed in Germany to create less thorny varieties with larger, higher-quality fruit. Extremely popular in Eastern Europe, Russia, and China as superfood.
