Mark your calendars! An amazing 3-day event is coming to Planting Justice's El Sobrante Nursery this May with @kill.joy.land and @kitchentable.puppetspress. Kill Joy is a Filipino American street artist, muralist, and printmaker, known for art that merges environmentalism, social justice, and mythology. Learn more about their art here.

Day 2: Effigy Build. Saturday, 5/16, 1 - 4 PM
Come together with community to adorn a preexisting 🧊puppet with paint and cardboard cut outs to be burned the next day. Also bring anything from home you’d like to burn and alchemize - Court documents, junk mail, letters, notes, etc. We’re preparing a prayer🙏🏽 together.
