Lisa Juachon, she/her/siya, has spent the last 20 years as an organizer, direct service provider, educator and cultural worker. She has worked across movements for food, housing, racial and climate justice. She is currently the Director of Program Operations for Planting Justice.

Lisa was born and raised on Ramaytush and Xučyun (Huichin) territory, the unceded lands of the Ohlone people and is a child of immigrants from the land of salt and rice fields, Pangasinan and Nueva Ecija, Philippines. 

She was a co-founding member of Sama Sama Cooperative, a summer ecology, arts & language camp for Filipinx youth and families. She is an advisory board member for Filipino American Coalition for Environmental Solidarity, a transnational environmental justice organization.

She enjoys gardening and making art for the movement. Her greatest teachers are her children and the lands around her.
