I’m from Sobrante Park, so I've known about Planting Justice since it first opened. I'm so excited to now get to be a part of the organization, and love working with my friends and plants. I’ve been gardening for about 20 years, and had a little farm and orchard for many years. I also worked in the early days of the cannabis industry before it was mainstream. I love working and staying busy. It rejuvenates me to garden and work on my house. I also have 5 dogs, so taking care of them keeps me busy and happy.
I have seen myself in the best, best headspace in my life. I’m not drinking no more. I’m eating healthier. It took me to come here, to be here, to really learn to love myself again.
