Beautiful evergreen subtropical trees have lush dark green foliage and bear fruit over a long season. With different varieties fruit can be harvested year round. Vigorous trees can grow into large specimens (30-40 ft) or can be kept small through pruning. They also grow well in containers. Fruits are nutritious and delectable. Trees need well drained soil and are hardy to 18 "30 degrees depending on the variety. Most varieties are partially self-fertile - they fruit best when both a pollination type "A" and a type "B" are planted. Zones 9-10
