Megan Taylor joined Planting Justice in February 2025 as the Nursery Manager
at The Good Table in El Sobrante. She first connected with Planting Justice
through their community work and online store, which features many of her
favorite plants. She attended Cal Poly SLO for Agricultural and Environmental
Plant Sciences, graduating in 2021. Outside of work, Megan is passionate about
animal welfare, spending time fostering kittens and rehabilitating amphibians.
Growing up gardening with her grandmother and preserving their abundant
harvests has led her to be surrounded by plants ever since. Her passion lies in
teaching others about growing food crops, landscape ornamentals, and indoor
houseplants. In her free time she loves perusing local nurseries, adding to her
record collection, or searching for the perfect matcha.
I have seen myself in the best, best headspace in my life. I’m not drinking no more. I’m eating healthier. It took me to come here, to be here, to really learn to love myself again.
